The National Day of Prayer is observed on the first Thursday of May each year. On May 6, 2010, millions of people across America prayed for our nation.
In the local area, many prayer gatherings are being scheduled at various times and locations. Everyone is invited to attend one or more of these events if possible. Those who are unable to attend a group prayer event are encouraged to take time to pray where they can.
