Eric and Christy have been serving as youth pastors for Harvest Church since January of 2006. They began after recognizing the church’s need for youth ministry. However, soon it became a cry of their hearts to see the youth of this generation rise up and they are currently helping develop Fuel-Igniting This Generation, the High School and College Student Ministry of Harvest Church in Temple, Texas.
They met each other in High School where they were actively
involved with their local youth group. They have been married for over 12 years
and have been involved with Young Married leadership at Shoreline Christian
Center in Austin, TX and Covenant Church in Carrolton, TX. They are blessed with two children.
Ethan, full of zeal and a heart of worship, was born in 2004, and Evan,
tenderhearted and full of love, was born in 2007.
Eric earned a BS in Kinesiology at the University of Texas in Austin and a MD at UT Southwestern in Dallas. He currently works as an OB/GYN with Scott and White. Eric desires to see this generation’s youth step into the fullness of their calling and fulfill their mandate to extend the Lord’s kingdom in their daily environment.
Christy loves being a stay-at-home Mom and in her spare time works as the secretary for the church. She desires to see the youth of this day walk in the purity that God has called each one of them to. Christy feels that there is a longing in this generation for a real God and a real relationship with Him.
Eric and Christy are excited to be a part of Harvest Church and look forward to seeing this generation passionately serving the Lord.
